In this important historical series, Gladdy Kemarre depicts scenes of the life of the Alyawarr and Anmatyarr men. These scenes relating to events of at least 100 years ago before white men came to the Central Desert region. She depicts scenes from their daily life and as well as significant tribal confrontations.
There are scenes of people meeting, talking and sharing bush tucker together and of hunting and fighting. The different background colours represents the different tracts of country.
